Tl,dr: What is the end game of Diablo? Why grind a seasonal character for gear just to get reset and do it again in a few months? What is the replay-ability of the game? Why play for X hours in a purely PvE game? There isn't a tangible feeling of accomplishment (other than the leader boards) I feel like. In hard core seasonal, what's the point? Legitimately, honestly, I've watched youtubers, streamers, made a character, got it to the greater rift point (remember this was my first time doing seasonal hardcore), and thought:ĭiablo is just about killing things mildly quickly until you do it too quickly, then you raise the difficulty, and rinse and repeat. So I hopped on, made a hardcore seasonal character, died, rinsed and repeated a few dozen times until I stopped putting it on T1 right at the start.īut then I started wondering. a few months back I tried to get back into it (just because I was mainly looking for something new). Hello all, I bought Diablo 3 when it first came out, beat the campaign with a buddy and put it down. After 2 hours expire the items become Account Bound to the player that holds them.Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread And the item(s) only stay “Party items” for 2 hours, as TimberWolf stated. If all Party members quit without picking the item(s) up, then the item(s) will disappear. They will only remain on the ground when you quit if the item “belongs” to all Party members. Note: Your items will disappear if dropped on the ground and you quit the game. (He could have at least gotten 15 Forgotten Souls from salvaging it). So, he just threw that Primal item away by dropping it on the ground and then quitting. That means: He could not have given it to you anyway. Which is just one more indication that he already had the item and did not find it in your game session. The item should not have disappeared when he quit the game, unless the item was already Bound to his Account (Account Bound). He must have gotten it with a different Character and had it in his Stash. If he could not trade it to you or you could not pick it up, then he did not get it in your game session. He dropped the item for me to pick up and then he dropped out and the item disappeared. I forfeit loot and the game doesn’t allow him to trade it to me? I see no trade option.
